About us

OUT STORY

Founded in 2017 by Titas, No Excuses Performance set out with one mission — to raise the standard of basketball training in Sydney. Built on discipline, passion, and a “no excuses” mindset, the program has helped athletes sharpen their skills, strengthen their mindset, and compete with confidence.

Now, after years of growing the basketball community, Titas is taking the next step — opening a brand-new basketball home for all hoopers: Hoopers Lane.

Set to launch in 2025, Hoopers Lane will be more than just a court. It will be a space where players of all levels can train, compete, and connect through the game we love.

From No Excuses to Hoopers Lane — the journey continues.

MEET COACH TITAS

My name is Titas PUTNA, and I’m the founder of Hoopers Lane.

I created Hoopers Lane because I wanted to give athletes the opportunity I wish I had growing up — a place where they can find real training, mentorship, and guidance to reach their potential.

As a young player, I remember how difficult it was to access quality coaching. I spent countless hours chasing gyms, making calls, and trying to find opportunities that could help me separate myself. It often felt overwhelming and out of reach.

Basketball eventually took me across the world. I lived and played in Europe, the USA, and Asia, experiencing different styles of basketball, training methods, and cultures. Those years taught me what truly helps players grow — not just in their game, but as people.
Hoopers Lane is the result of that journey.

It’s built on the lessons, experiences, and values I carried back from around the globe. This isn’t just a basketball court — it’s a space where players are challenged, inspired, and supported every step of the way.

What makes us different is our mindset.

We are more than coaches — we are mentors. We don’t just build basketball players; we build character, confidence, and a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.
